3D Modeling & Visualization

Buyers, lenders and boards do not read elevations. They read pictures. A render is the first honest look anyone gets at what you are actually building, which is exactly why it has to be accurate as well as beautiful.

01

Modeling that matches the drawings

Every visualization starts from the real geometry: the same dimensions, the same ceiling heights, the same window sizes as the construction documents. When the drawings change, the model changes, so the image you market with is the building you will hand over.

We model architecture, millwork, furniture, fixtures, hardscape and planting, and we place the building in its real site context using survey data, aerials and street-level photography where available.

Materials are built from the actual specification: the tile that was selected, the stone with its real colour variation, the metal with its real finish. Generic library materials are where renders start looking like renders.

02

Light, atmosphere and time of day

Lighting is what makes an image read as a place rather than a model. We set sun position from the real site orientation, latitude and time of year, so shadows fall where they will actually fall.

Typical packages cover golden hour for exteriors, a bright overcast option for accurate material reading, dusk for the warm interior glow that sells residential, and full night for hospitality and retail.

Interior scenes are lit with the specified fixtures and daylight in combination, so the image tells you something true about how the space will feel at eight in the morning and at eight at night.

03

Output and revisions

Images are delivered at print resolution with the layered files retained, so a camera can be re-rendered later with a different material, a different sky or updated landscaping without rebuilding the scene.

Each view goes through a clay-render approval for camera and composition before any material or lighting work starts. That is where framing gets settled, and it saves everyone a round of expensive revisions.

What you get

  • Fully modelled 3D scene, exterior and interior
  • Photorealistic still images at print resolution
  • Clay renders for camera and composition approval
  • Multiple lighting scenarios per view
  • Material and finish boards matched to the render
  • Revision rounds included at defined stages

Questions

How many views does a typical package include?

Residential usually runs three to six exteriors and four to eight interiors. Commercial and hospitality run higher because more spaces need to be sold.

Can you render before the design is finished?

Yes, and it is often the point. Renders are one of the fastest ways to test a design decision with real stakeholders before it is locked.

Do you work from Revit models or do you rebuild?

We work from your Revit or CAD model where one exists and rebuild only what the model is too coarse to carry.
