Architectural Drafting
A permit set is where a design either becomes buildable or becomes a problem. We draft construction documents that survive plan review, price accurately, and answer the questions a superintendent actually asks on site.
What we draft
We produce complete architectural drawing sets: site plans, dimensioned floor plans, roof plans, exterior elevations, building and wall sections, enlarged plans for kitchens and bathrooms, door and window schedules, interior elevations, and the detail sheets that tie them together.
Documents are drafted in Revit or AutoCAD depending on what your team already works in. When a project starts in one and has to move to the other, we handle the translation rather than handing you a file that half-works.
Every set carries a consistent graphic standard: line weights that read at full size and at 11×17, annotation that stays legible when a contractor prints it in the field, and a sheet index that matches the actual drawings in the set.
Code and permit review
We draft against the code edition your jurisdiction has actually adopted, not the newest one published. For Florida work that means the current Florida Building Code, wind-borne debris and exposure requirements, egress and accessibility provisions, and the local amendments that county and city reviewers apply in practice.
Before a set leaves our office it goes through an internal completeness check: life-safety data, occupancy and construction type, fire separation, means of egress, and the schedules and details that plan reviewers most often flag as missing.
When comments do come back, we turn them around quickly and issue a clean revision with clouds and deltas so reviewers can see exactly what changed.
Working with your team
Most of our drafting work runs alongside an architect of record, a structural engineer, and an MEP consultant. We coordinate directly with them, track the current issue of every consultant drawing, and flag conflicts early instead of letting them surface during framing.
For developers without an in-house technical team, we act as the drafting department: we take sketches, marketing plans, or a competitor plan you like, and turn them into a documented, dimensioned, buildable set.
What you get

- Dimensioned floor plans, elevations, sections and details
- Door, window and finish schedules
- Code summary and life-safety plan
- Revision sets in response to plan review comments

Questions
Can you work from a hand sketch or a PDF of an existing plan?
Yes. Most projects start that way. We rebuild the geometry properly rather than tracing, so dimensions and areas hold up later.
Do you stamp drawings?
We are a drafting and BIM studio, not the architect of record. We produce the documentation and coordinate with the licensed professional who seals it, often the architect you already work with.
How fast is a typical residential permit set?
A straightforward single-family set usually runs two to four weeks depending on the level of detail and how quickly design decisions are confirmed.
